Hi, I’m Kira — a Wellness Coach, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Yoga Instructor, but also someone who knows firsthand what it’s like to live with chronic illness (I have Rheumatoid Arthritis).
For years, I struggled with inflammation and exhaustion that no one could explain and no medication could fix. I felt disconnected from my body and desperate for relief and answers. That’s when I decided to become my own advocate — using what I learned at UCLA and USC about the science of the body, movement, and inflammation, and combining it with holistic healing and mindful movement to create lasting change.
Over time, I developed a system that helped me lower inflammation, boost my energy, navigate medical care with confidence, and truly feel healthy again. Now, my flares are manageable, my energy is steady, and I finally feel at home in my body again.
I created Empowered with Kira to help other women do the same — to show that healing isn’t about perfection. It’s about knowledge, self-advocacy, and mindfulness. It’s about learning to work with your body, not against it — and knowing that real healing is possible when you trust yourself and take it one step at a time.

My courses and content are a culmination of my lifelong education journey (and hundreds of thousands of dollars of knowledge). They are intended to be as straightforward and actionable as possible. I am here to be your guide towards optimal health!
